Determine the size of the table you want to create. Anything 22″ by 24″ deep is a good size for people to eat comfortably. This table comes in two, 23″ deep and 47″ wide.
Transfer your measurements to a 3/4″ sheet of plywood and use a 4″ miter or straight edge to cut the markings straight. For this table, we cut one piece into 48″ x 24″ pieces for the back and one piece into 47″ x 23″ pieces for the tablet.
Use a circular saw to cut the back of the table frame. Cut a 1″ x 4″ pine board to form your plywood. For this frame, two boards are 48″ long and two boards are 22 1/2″ long.
