Since the renovation, the house is being renovated. Man is a slow process. Everything seemed to be taking three times longer than I thought it would. On the other hand, it's a good process. DIY projects are the most fun for me (obvi). High on the list is a tight leather armchair I made recently that would sit nicely in the corner of the bedroom. It's amazing what a little Glidden® paint and some leather can do! Here's a full tutorial on how to do it yourself.

Glidden paint is jet black (don't worry, Glidden paint only comes in black, which makes it easy. P.S. I used satin!).

Leather (For those of you who have been following my Leather Couch Chronicles series, I'm using leather from an old couch.)
First remove the fabric from the beach chair. To do this, remove the dowels on both ends and remove the fabric.
Next, paint the chair frame along the edges. A large brush was used for most seat frames and small hard-to-reach areas.

Third, cut a piece of leather to the size of the scrap material and add 3 inches to the short edges. You will need this extra fabric for folding and sewing. This pocket will be used to insert the pieces to allow the leather to be attached to the seat.
Fold in the extra 3 inches on each end to ensure there is enough room to tuck in the fabric.
Sew these ends to your sewing machine. Sew with leather needle and leather thread. Kill him twice to confirm the hold.
Colapissa Brown Swivel Arm Chair
Pull the ends of the sewn fabric through the holes on the chair. It may require a bit of tugging, but once it's in the skin you can easily peel off the rest.

All triangles fit perfectly and are ready to glue. More than 30 clips can be used to hold the four joints together.
How To Clean A Leather Couch
After drying for 24 hours, two different holes are drilled on the inner surface of the profiles. First, I will mill the holes for the nut and pin and later the pockets for the horizontal supports.
The profiles are then sanded down and the edges rounded off using a router with a 1/2″ radius used for the previous perforations.
After sanding, the chair must first be assembled. After the leather seats were tested, everything fitted together.
