Step 3: Now hold your fabric inside out so the long side is “sewn” in place and fold it in half horizontally. With both sides aligned as best as possible, cut the rounded corners from top to bottom towards the center. When you open the hood you should have a round end. Faux-sew it off.
Step 4: You should now have what looks like a giant pillowcase. Spread it apart and place it back down on your work surface this time so your beads are in the center (see below). In the remaining open section, sew a false seam from each edge, leaving an opening in the center large enough to hold items (mine is about 8 inches).

1. Measure and cut the circle. Starting with your fabric panel, cut out two circles using a 170 inch circle. I folded the fabric back enough on its own to cut two pieces at a time.
The easiest way to measure is by the radius of the circle, which is 27 inches. Cut a string about 40 inches long and tie one end to a pin or straight pin. This is your focus point.

3. Sew a drawing together. With right sides together, snap and sew the two rectangles on the short side (32″) together. You now have a long rectangle measuring 32″ x 170+ wide. Do this for each fabric type.
4. Single vent hole on top to improve accuracy and stay in place. With the right sides together, attach a circle to the long side of the rectangle. Sew with a 1/4-1/2 inch seam allowance (depending on your fabric/sewing machine. A heavier fabric should have a larger seam, but if you have a 1/4 inch seam it will do).
Sew the last short end of the rectangle (right corners together) after attaching it to the first circle, making sure everything lines up nicely.

5. UAP & SEW TIPIPER AND LOWER SEAT*. Pin the second circle to the bottom of the rectangle, right sides together, leaving room for the zipper length. Snap the zipper in place. (I have a zipper tutorial here at steps 6-12 of my t-shirt pillow tutorial).
Adding a zipper to the entrance is optional. You can leave 2-3 foot openings for filling with foam and then seal tightly.
6. Complete with FOAM. It’s in your best interest to follow my next advice carefully! Place a foam bag inside the box before opening and allow to air out. It expands like crazy and the foam has a lot of static energy so it sticks to everything. As soon as the insert is inserted, close and sew! (Or shrink it when you zip it in!)
