I start by preparing the board that I will use for the table. I will be using a single board of Canarywood that I got from Woodworkers Source.

The waterfall function for the cutters will be only for the upper part of the board, which consists of 3 parts. So I cut the board on the miter saw a little longer than these 3 pieces.

You want the piece to be cut roughly down the center of the board without going all the way to the end of the board, leaving enough material on top for strength.
(I made a few test cuts with a similar size base to make sure the piece was in the right position.)
Now that the beam is at the correct height and the fence is in the correct position, it’s time to install the stop blocks for the start and end of the cut. Installing these stop blocks will make it a hidden connection.
