How To Make Mini Pies In Muffin Tins – Just when I thought I had cooked fruit all the ways in the pot, I found another way to do it. Making mini cakes in muffin tins is an art, but it wasn’t my idea.

I saw them in a magazine and I’m sorry I don’t remember but if I saw it I would write it down. I just used it in my pancake recipe and I love the idea. There is no need for a crust on top, but you can add a little more decorative dough if you like. I like to add fresh herbs to my muffins.

Mini pies are easy, great party favors, and perfect for a potluck, backyard party, or picnic.

Mini Peach Pies

You can take your favorite recipe, use a pie crust here or my gluten free dough here. If you’re new here, you’ve learned how to cook independently without gluten (not good for gluten). I make a lot and what you see here is gluten free, but it doesn’t have to be. You can also buy a rolling pin if you want something very simple.

The great thing is that you can use whatever berries or cherries you have on hand and you can make up to 24 using the whole pie recipe, or you can make just six using breadcrumbs or part of the pie dough and freezing. The rest is for the future.

You can also create and make pancakes according to your taste. I made mini cherry tarts with mascarpone cheese, but I only made a few cherries. Instead of mascarpone, I could have used the buttermilk bread recipe.

In this cake recipe, I used mascarpone cheese mixed with a little sweetener. I added some morello cherries. You can also use my cherry pie recipe.

Mini Cherry Pies Recipe

I still find ready-made pancakes more effective and just as good as homemade. Of course, if you have the time and appetite, try these mini pancakes. If you want to make it quick and easy, use pre-made cookies like I did in this recipe!

Then open and spread one pie crust at a time on a very thin surface. Then, using a 2.5-inch round cookie cutter or cookie cutter, cut out 24 lines and repeat with the rest of the pie crust. Cut out a small leaf or droopy shape from the extra pie crust to decorate the pumpkin pie.

Then, in the prepared mini muffin cups, press 1 circle of cherry into the bottom and sides of each cup.

Pecan Pie Bites: In a medium bowl, beat the butter, brown sugar, corn syrup, vanilla, and eggs together. Then add the chopped pecans. Pour into 8 crust-lined cups. Pumpkin Bites: In a medium bowl, first combine the pumpkin puree, cream cheese, brown sugar, eggs, and pumpkin spice. Then beat until smooth using a hand mixer. Pour into 8 crust-lined cups. Apple Pie Bites: In a medium bowl, combine the applesauce, butter, vanilla, powdered sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix the mixture well. Then add 8 cups of cherry pie.

Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the patties are set in the center. Pecan pie is full of pride, but relax when you take the pies out of the oven.

While the cakes are cooling, place the cake drop pieces on a baking sheet and bake until golden, about 10 minutes. Finally, decorate part of the cake with whipped cream and decorative cake shapes, if desired.

Spoon the pancake filling into each well. These mini pancakes can be prepared in a regular or mini pan. I did both and loved the crust filling from a regular muffin pan. It’s a slice of cherry pie, but without the messy filling that spills everywhere. The pictures are very cute, but they don’t store much in them….but you can “imitate” a lot of them. Either way, they’re all sure to be crowd pleasers!

Place another cherry pie on top of the filling, or leave it open. Be creative! I made a line with the top layer (always make sure there is a hole or crack in the top so the cake can pop out while baking). I used mini cookie cutters to cut out the fun shapes (the leaves on the apple pie on the left are my favorite, they gave the leaves a beautiful golden hue after baking).
