How To Make A Strong Table
The coffee table consists of 28 square pieces of wood that are stacked and glued together with Gorilla Wood Glue. It couldn't be easier, the only tool you need is a screwdriver to attach the legs to the bottom of the table.

The wood was cut at my local lumberyard, this is something you can do anywhere they sell wood, it saves a lot of work and is perfect if you -you don't have a saw. I often cut wood for me, especially sheet material, a professional saw board is much more accurate with measurements than I can do.
To make a board, you need to put a lot of glue on a piece of plywood and arrange your first 7 pieces of wood on a sheet. This page is slightly narrower than your width of 7 pieces. This is so you have some slack and can't see the page when looking at the table. Make sure that all the ends of the wood are sanded before you start building your table.
I like that the edges of the wood are uneven, so I have small pieces sticking out, between 0.5 and 1 cm in random order. You can make this length difference bigger for a more dramatic effect or you can line them all up perfectly. I love how the light plays with the slightly uneven edges that create a beautiful texture on my table.

To make sure you start with a stable base, wrap your first layer of wood with masking tape and let the beam dry for half an hour.
When you are done arranging and gluing all the wood you need to clamp the board to hold all the wood in place while the glue dries I use masking tape make sure the tape is as tight as possible . Allow the carrier to dry for 24 hours.

The next day remove the tape and remove the board, be careful that the board is heavy. Line up the legs with the corners of the plywood and screw the hairpins into place with your wood screws. Use a screw long enough to penetrate the plywood and half through the first piece of wood.

Place the table so that it is straight all around and finally make sure with your sandpaper that the sides of your coffee table are nice and smooth. You can oil, weather or paint your table, but I like to keep it as it is.
I love my new coffee table! It only took me an hour to make and then another 20 minutes the next day, so quick and so easy!
Gorilla Wood Glue is very strong so my new board is a solid build and wood for you to cut is easy to build. The metal hairpin legs give the stacked wooden coffee table a nice industrial look, I keep the metal plain but you can paint it a fun color. I think mint green or bright yellow would look really nice.

A little variation in the way I arrange the wood gives some nice texture to the edge of my table, I really like the way the light hits the ends and creates little shadows.
