How To Wire Sockets In A Shed – I have looked at various posts on this site and although I have found some that relate to my question, none of them provide a definitive answer.
I have a garage with power to the door and lights. The garage is powered by a 40 amp MCB in the CU housing through a 6 mm square cable. This cable terminates a second CU consisting of a main switch (without RCD) and two MCBs. One is 20 amp for the outlet and the other is 6 amp for the lights. (I inherited the house when I bought it. I reheated the house in 2005 and although the wiring in the garage was not replaced, it was checked.)

I am thinking of replacing the current CU garage with something that can be expanded (say 5 lanes). I will have an RCD (100 amp I think) inside this CU so I will have a 20 amp MCB for the ring socket and a 6 amp MCB for the light (as found). Then I will add another 32 amp MCB. This will be for the house.
I’m thinking of running a 2.5mm square SWA to the house from a 32 amp MCB (the wire will be buried in a trench).
In the shed, I would recommend a CU to have a 63 amp RCD. From this CU, I will run a loop for the outputs with a 16 amp MCB. (I have two metal fabric doors. They are both built in RCD protection and I want to use them to reduce cost and provide extra protection.) I will add a 6 amp MCB for interior lighting.
I also want to install outdoor garden lights operated by a remote control unit inside the house There are five lamps: one at each corner of the garden and a fifth lamp for a tree at the end of the garden.

Each light will have its own 6 amp MCB and is powered via 2.5mm square SWA wire. The reason for using a single MCB is that the remote units I am thinking of using are live and neutral. Of course, I had to fix the cable and the light itself. To achieve this, I plan to complete the SWA in a metal box with a blank cover. The armature will be connected to the box through the gland. The ground wire of the SWA cable terminates at the point of the box. To keep the ground on, I thought I could use a long 2.5mm square ground wire (covered) to “daisy iron” from one metal box to another. (Five boxes total) In the last box I plan to use a 4mm square earth wire to go back to the home CU earth.
I think the wiring to the shed will be a problem if I rely on SWA power to the house (the cable length from the CU garage to the CU house is about 25m). My guess is the ground should go 25 meters to the CU garage and another 15 meters (depending on cable length) to the CU house. To solve this problem, I suggest installing an earth rod outside the house with a 16 sq mm wire to connect to the house CU.

External lighting max 100w. The shed will automatically run your lawn mower, lawnmower, rechargeable power tools – anything with a heavy load. In fact, exterior lighting will work at night, and unlike interior lighting, there may be no pulling power from the door.

I know there will be a brownout, but I have no idea if the brownout will prove too much for my mind configuration.
I know this all depends on the purpose and distribution of using a 10-way CU in the house, a 5-way in the garage and a 2.5mm square SWA between the garage and the shed as I have 6 boxes of MCB rack metal sheathed pipe. Different amperage. I have been collecting this box for years with the goal of doing this.
I think this setup is fine, my only concern is the 63 amp RCD in the CU housing.
Why not add up the wattage of all the appliances you think you’ll need to use in the garage?

And why do you need five MCBs and five boxes for your lights for SWA connection?

I can reduce the number of MCBs by connecting two outdoor lights to one module. In other words, the recipe contains only one ingredient. ie – the second lamp is powered by one module and its power supply, the second lamp is powered by the second module and its power supply and the third is powered by the module with a power supply is the pole lamp. This means three modules with one power supply so only three MCBs. Do I need to increase the MCB number to fix it?

I think each light will have a square 2.5mm SWA wire connected to it. Each thread needs a shield. I know I could probably use a large metal box and put the ends on each wire, but I’ve got small metal boxes with blank boards.

Now, I think each module needs to be recorded separately. Are you saying I can get an MCB and make a loop to power the modules?
