I knew that Charlie Chaplin's house (yellow above and left) was actually next to Douglas Fairbanks and Mary Pickford's Pickfair (blue top and left), but I didn't realize that Charlie lived like this near Buster Keaton (orange near and left). They all live near Harold Lloyd's Green Acres (red above and left). Above, this photo from 1937, taken at 8,400 feet, shows how close the five massive stars live together. As another revelation, see how Lloyd's massive estate stacks up against other large homes, perhaps larger in size than the other three combined. According to architectural historian David Silverman, David O. Selznick lived south of Chaplin (link, see red line) and in 1937 Fred Astaire lived right next door at 1121 Summit (link, see color line) Chestnut). If you search for the aerial view on Google Maps, you can see that Picfair and Charlie's house has been extensively renovated, Picfair swimming pool appears in the same place as Charlie's tennis court and his beautiful house.
