Andrew Wilbar: In my review of Strong this summer, I talked about the knee injury he suffered in high school, and that injury has now become the biggest question mark surrounding his lineup. As a prospect, the first thing that stands out about Strong is his arm strength. Sets a good chain on short and intermediate throws and can throw it 60 yards downfield with ease. Over the last two seasons he has learned to make quicker decisions with the football and has become cleaner and quicker. Strong also improved his accuracy, taking another step forward in 2021 with an impressive 70.2% completion percentage. While his poise in the pocket has contributed to his success, improving his footwork has helped him become a more accurate passer. At 6’4″ and 215 pounds, Strong is primarily a pocket passer, but he has enough mobility to move in the pocket and occasionally make plays down the field. Just don’t expect any quarterback in the draft to run over him. Those close to him also fault his high IQ . I’m concerned about his tightness and his health. Strong’s most notable issue is his knee, and that could be what keeps him out for the first half of the first round. Fortunately for him, recent reports indicate that teams are not looking at his knee issues as something that could hurt his career.
Andrew Wilbar: Rosenthal weighed about 30 pounds less than he showed during the season, which makes him a little heavier. He looked like a player with a whole new profile at the combine, and I’m not sure if that should be considered a good thing or not. Rosenthal is a talented lineman who transferred from LSU and quickly became a leader on Kentucky’s offensive line. Andrew Wilbar: Taylor-Stewart is an aggressive press corner who has the size and speed to become a dominant outside corner. However, I have a few minor gripes with his game. He can run step-for-step with any receiver, but when he’s alone on an island, he lacks eye discipline, forcing him to look back at the ball. That was enough for PFF to give him the highest grade in pass blocking. However, in 2019, I really fell in love with him as a prospect. Robinson proved to be an absolutely brutal blocker, keeping his pitches square, using his length to create good leverage and finishing all of his blocks. Although he played linebacker for most of his career, Oklahoma’s coaching staff decided to move him to play in 2021, and he hasn’t been as dominant since the position switch. He wasn’t terrible by any means, but he struggled inside at times due to his lack of agility and lateral mobility. Robinson is definitely not an NFL player, but he is a fantastic running back who I believe is one of the most underrated players in the 2022 draft.

Ryland B: If you saw Stearns’ 2021 stats if you did a double take, you wouldn’t be the only one. Playing in VKU’s high-powered offense with star KB Bailey Zappa, Stearns put up season numbers that look like the career numbers of many college wide receivers. Despite not being invited to the combine, Stearns ran a 4.4 40 at his pro day, and it showed on the score sheet. He is incredibly explosive and definitely productive. Stearns shows great athleticism and acceleration, often outshining entire defenses on his many big plays in 2021. He is a natural receiver who plucks the ball out of the air with ease. However, his smaller size prevents him from making more acrobatic and contested catches. He’s also not overly physical, and combined with the lower level of competition in college, it’s fair to say that Stern’s incredible production may not translate to the NFL level.
