1. Introduction – What will the class teach you?: Hello, my name is Tanya. I am a professional painter with over 20 years of experience. I run a successful business selling GoodNotes digital stickers and sticker books. And in this course I will teach you business techniques. So you can do the same. I'll teach you how to create your own high-quality sticker pack and create a great notepad digital sticker book that you can give to your customers to help increase your digital sticker sales. I'll cover working with vector and raster files. , Photoshop, Illustrator and Production. By the end of this class, you'll be ready to create your own digital stickers using the software you're most comfortable with. This class assumes that you have a basic working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop, and that you know how to use the Basics and GoodNotes for those who want to create digital stickers with Procreate. This class also assumes that you have a basic working knowledge of software. If you're looking for a class that will walk you through the end-to-end process of creating digital stickers and Goodnotes sticker books. Then join the class with me and have fun. 2. Your Art Versus Purchased Clipart: There are many artists whose works exist digitally. If you don't have the skills or time to create your own digital sticker art, I suggest looking for artists to sell your art commercially. Etsy is a great place to look. There are many talented artists in the community who offer commercial licensing options that include digital use. They will often ask you to modify the artwork from its original state by adding words or other art to your art to create your own image. But some don't ask you to do that anymore. Just make sure you read the terms and conditions before buying, so you don't get stuck with the art and can't use what you want. If their terms of use are unclear, send them a message and ask for clarification. So you have it in writing, explaining the terms of use. If you're making your own art, the sky's the limit for how you use it. We'll go through the next few lessons with vector and raster art to show you how it can be formatted for digital use in a sticker pack and then imported and formatted into a beautiful sticker book. 3. Sticker Background: In the real world, printed stickers have a background that allows the cutter to kiss the edge of the space around each sticker design. So it doesn't cut into the artwork as the blade cuts close to the sticker. In such a situation, the question is, should there be a solution in the manufacture of digital stickers? So this is what a printed sticker looks like? Or should there be no counter? To make the digital artwork look more like it's customized with the page posted here, the choice is really yours. First, we need to consider the background of the stickers from our previous lesson. We debated whether or not we should have contrasting backgrounds. But that's not the story I'm talking about here. If we see this painting, this white background, it looks good. However, if I go and turn off the background, we can see some of these areas perfectly. If one placed it in a layout, it would show background lines and shapes and would look very unsightly when creating a digital planner page. To create a high quality digital sticker, we need to create a white background around the part we don't want to be transparent. Now you can use the simple pen tool and draw around the image. Just be sure to place it behind your image in the Layers panel. Due to time, I did it here. You can already see the difference. The picture is clearly visible. And now we know you'll give it up as a planner. You won't see the lines and text and they come through our image. Another thing we can do to create high quality digital stickers with Photoshop is to consider the canvas size. than the drawing itself. I can turn off the white background layer just like we did before. And I can sell like Ping.
