We love vacations by the sea. This was our first time staying in a ground floor unit – it makes walking the dog easier, although newbies are of course limited. The unit is clean and well equipped. Check out the photos of the second bedroom – it's a little different than some of the other units. Worked great for us. Building 8 is suitable for hiking trails. Thanks to the owner for providing it and allowing us to bring our (well-behaved) dog 🙂
We have been renting these apartments for the past 10+ years. We have never had a disappointing stay, but when you find a unit like 812, we plan to always rent that unit. The location, view, bathroom and bed were all perfect for us. Our boys were 15 and 18 and our room with our own bed was perfect.

Before we arrived we were told there was construction going on. It had very little effect on our stay. The staff and crew respected our needs and met them. The apartment was clean, and although minimally furnished, had everything we needed for our visit. Will definitely consider visiting again.
All in all we had a very pleasant stay and this is our second stay in the apartment. The kitchen is well equipped, plenty of towels, beach toys for the grandchildren visiting on the weekend. The TV worked well and we enjoyed the outdoor space.
The apartment was full of black quarter legs compared to our last visit. I counted 50 inside the apartment, not just the ones on the sidewalk and stairs. I spoke to a maintenance guy who assured us it was worse last year. We didn't see anything last year, so a different time of year or recent insecticide spraying made a difference. When you shower, something crawls out of the shower wall in the master bathroom.
Due to the maintenance of the dunes, the sea is not visible now. If you stand or sit on a high stool, you will see the water. This is unchanged from last year, but in the future we will rent an apartment on the second or third floor.

This location exceeded my expectations. Quiet and comfortable. All the furniture, including the kitchen facilities, feel solid and not cheap at all.
We wanted a quick vacation by the sea and this was the perfect place. We were close enough to the beach for a quick walk along the beach between hail storms.
Had a great family weekend. All in good to fair condition. The ice machine and community were not suitable for our stay.
The unit itself is great with easy access to the beach and in excellent condition. Will definitely stay again.

The unit was perfectly equipped for the four of us – the kitchen was well equipped and nicely decorated and we loved the ground floor corner location. We walked the beach (first time I've ever seen so much snow!), dug for oysters, bought crabs from Float 8, and set off some fireworks in the New York evening. We all had an unforgettable time and hope to keep the tradition alive!
Apartment #812 is perfectly located as it is close to the beach and trails. The apartment is very clean and well supplied, but it may need to update furniture. The mattress in the master bedroom was horrible and made me rush home and sleep. The blinds were broken so I couldn't lift them to get a beautiful sea view from my bedroom window. I wish the bed was better and would love to go back but I'm not sure how the beds are in other apartments.
This unit is immaculate! Very clean, pet friendly unit is a bonus! The bedding is very comfortable, and one room has bunk beds, which is very comfortable. We have lived in many units in this apartment complex and this particular unit is our favorite!
This location is the best! The access to the beach is very close and the view of the ocean from the window is amazing! It's nice to be on the ground floor because there are no stairs, but that's where people go. The apartment itself is very big and we will definitely come back!

Our weekends are very convenient and we love being close to the beach and state parks. Walking and playing on the beach are Westport's favorite activities, and this time we also enjoyed the crab cage Christmas tree in the harbor.
This is the perfect place to stay with children and dogs. Steps to the beach, plenty of room to spread out, with ocean views from the living room and a long paved walkway with ocean views the entire way. We will be back!
The apartment is in a great location with an amazing view! We really enjoyed our stay and the weather could not have been better. These apartments are our favorite places to live by the sea!
