(wow) Words Of Wonders Level 2045 Answers – Welcome to the second part of the blog series on the launch of the expert influence book. In our first post, we wrote a summary of what expert influence means and how this book came about. In summary, Expert Impact is a three-part system for breaking down the walls of your classroom and connecting your students to the world. There are three parts to this system:

In this article, we will expand on only the first part of our system: students learn from experts near and far.

One of the major goals of education is to expose students to a variety of subjects, ideas, cultures, careers, interests, and projects. Some students relate to one area more than another, but throughout the year, all students should have some experience or experience in an area that feeds their personal interest.

When we make learning content about just us, ordinary classroom teachers, we make it real for students. So how do we do it? We connect our students with real-life experts to help create a powerful learning experience and make their learning relevant.

When it comes to teaching about the economy of our state, we know that as teachers (not businessmen or entrepreneurs), we are not the best people to teach how to start a successful business and make a lot of money. Instead of reading old textbooks on entrepreneurship, we took a selfie and launched a Shark Tank-style entrepreneurship program for our students! We invited real entrepreneurs to speak to our class. Our biggest insight was a video chat with our class from the founder of our favorite edtech startup, FlipGrid. Who better to learn from real experts who have successfully started their own technology companies?

We also had local entrepreneurs in our community and the president of our local chamber of commerce come to our school for lunch to talk to the students and share their great lessons from their business careers. These experts can give our students feedback on the products they have created and advise them on how they can bring their ideas to life in the future. More interesting than those of us studying and reading textbooks? Not even a question!

We don't want our message to go the wrong way… You don't need to bring the best, world famous, #1 “expert” or guru into your classroom to create a powerful learning card for your students. . . Getting an expert just means getting someone who knows more than you about the particular subject you are teaching. Experts are people who work in the field you teach and have the ability and desire to speak to the world's best “product” – your child!

If you really know us, you know we love acronyms, so we couldn't change the title of our book to an acronym. So what makes your students qualified professionals to teach? See below!

Teachers still (and always will) play an important role in the classroom and in the learning experience of their students. Our jobs will never be handed over to robots (the COVID-19 pandemic has made this clearer than ever). However, our work is evolving. Whether our students are pursuing careers as drone air traffic controllers, app developers, entrepreneurs, or corporate employees, there are some skills we can teach that will give our students a chance to succeed in life. Choosing a path… So what might innovative education look like in the next decade? For us, innovation happens by building new relationships with real-world experts that our students can learn from. Who better to share insights and experiences about applying their learning to the real world than someone who has dedicated their life to the field?

Now it's time to tell you what the students themselves think about learning this way, because they are the ones we ask to learn this way. It is the stories of our students that we want to share with the world through our books.

“For the first time, I know what it takes to innovate. I learned that if I set my mind to it, if I'm motivated, if I'm passionate about learning, I can do it.

“I've learned that when I work to do better than what I've done before, I (or we) have to commit to seeing our vision. We have a chance to change the world.”

“This book is full of big ideas with detailed methods for approaching them. Zack and Grayson share how to design authentic learning, connect with experts, extend learning beyond the classroom, empower students , and develop students' minds that they are capable of working at a functional and professional level.

“In this book, Grayson and Zack lay a foundation for preschool learning and share their experiences as classroom teachers who use project-based learning as part of their delivery system. This book provides clear examples of And is full of tools that will examine, expand, and challenge us as educators to continue our efforts to reach all students.”

We hope that everyone who reads this book will be inspired by practical strategies to empower students to think creatively in any classroom or school. In fact, to say we're excited is an understatement. In the lead up to the big day, we wanted to write a few blog posts to tell you the story behind the story and preview what's to come in the book.

It all started in September of 2013, on the third day of the school year, when I (Zach) fresh out of college entered what I hoped would be the interview stage of my final training. The final hurdle is teaching a sample lesson for the fourth grade. I went into Grayson's class desperate to teach a non-fiction class. I guess you can tell the lesson went well because after a few days we found out that the class was teaching. The rest, as they say, is history.

If you had told me in that interview that eight years later we would publish a book together, I would have thought you were crazy, but this book is the most important thing that happened after the bloody day of September.

We have presented together for the past 8 years and shared our love of learning with other teachers at our school and at conferences and events in Michigan while developing a deeper purpose for why we both teach. Go: Motivating our students. A desire to use their education to improve their lives and make the world a better place.

The world is changing. The world has changed – a lot. But despite the upcoming changes, we know that students will play an important role in preparing students for success now and in the future… We just believe that this important role must be fulfilled. There was a time when teachers had to be experts in what they taught, and many teachers still share this view. But with the entire knowledge base of the planet at our fingertips in the form of Google, Siri, Alexa, and YouTube (to name a few), we see the role of teachers shift from “sage on stage” to planners and turns into a facilitator. An important learning experience for students, help
