You know that awkward moment when your mom tells everyone, in between bites of broccoli casserole, to gather around the table and tell everyone how grateful they are for the year?

Say he appreciates this, in our day of thanksgiving. Given the nature of the group, it was no surprise that many families jumped up and agreed when I asked. But we have something in common that I think is worth sharing.

It’s been a tough couple of years but we’re all looking forward to it I thank everyone who is reading these words right now I hope you have a great holiday friends. -K.H.
Matt: I am grateful that my son was born during this difficult time for the Flyers. Not that I want them to go bad, but there is some value in buying less and saving them for tough times – maybe a lesson to be learned too. That means he’ll keep saying he’s been a fan since he was 22, which means he’s had some burnout years. When the Flyers win another title at my age, after I die, they can say, “Finally, it all paid off, we’ve come a long way as a fan,” and “Wow, I Dad might be done.” That sucks.
Steph: On this day, I want to thank the fans who love the Flyers hockey team. how did we get here I don’t know, but we are in this together. Thanks again to John Tortorella, he was more interesting than I thought. But on a deeper level, he felt
This is refreshing, especially since no one seems to have mastered it. She’s a horse girl, you know what I love about that.

Coulter: I’m grateful that even though we all knew the situation with this team was hopeless in the short and short term, we still managed to find the joy of the moment and play here and there. It’s easy to say that flyers should tank, and, well…they probably should! But the funny thing is, we don’t seem to get to the point where we’re not happy when they do good things on the ice. While the big picture is rather worrisome, something interesting is happening here. If you’ve seen all of them here, you might like it.
Kelly: I’m grateful for a group of fans who, despite having a franchise like this, are involved and invested enough to be very frustrated. always. It sounds cliché, I know, but I mean it. We could be the Arizona Coyotes with no real involvement or fan interest because there aren’t many. but there are
Us. even. Despite (very legitimate) complaints, most of us don’t seem to be making any progress. This means that our extended family of grieving Flyers will be together for another year. Just like we did last year. Talk about wire combinations, complain about the 4 gauge plug, hate the front desk all together. It’s pretty cool when you step back and think about it.
Thomas: I am grateful for the care Flyer has taken of me lately. I’m also thankful that we were able to have fun together and enjoy watching the first few weeks of the season, but that’s been overshadowed by the team’s return to Earth; downhill, nose to ground, or whatever tropes you like. It gives us a real sense of what the Flyers’ season will look like, and how we do our research in the months leading up to the NHL draft and hope for some lottery luck. They have a tough rivalry, but based on how they’ve played the past few weeks, I believe they can go there and be one of the worst teams we’ve ever seen. good luck!
