(wow) Words Of Wonders Level 1284 Answers – Introducing Audemars Piguet's new Rainbow with this new Royal Oak Another day, another day, another rainbow edition from the Swiss Holy Trinity. Your move, Vacheron.
If yesterday's technicolor news from Patek Philippe wasn't enough for jewelry lovers, AP has just dropped its long bombshell: an outrageous range (ten different watches, in two different sets, to be exact) of various sets of royal jewels. Self-winding oak chronographs, each in 37mm and 41mm.

Each watch is crafted in white gold and set with approximately 800 cut stones (861 solid stones in 179 41mm sizes; 790 whole stones in 153 37mm sizes), all hand-selected and cut to maintain perfect color uniformity. The AP partnered with Geneva-based Salanitro, a leader in the world of gemstone manufacturing often referred to by luxury watchmakers, including Patek Philippe. Salanitro was most recently featured in the Swiss press in September of this year after it was announced that Patek had acquired an ownership stake in the company.

As AP reports, the search for the stones took about a year, not surprisingly since quality control of each gem is a difficult process. Consistency is difficult to achieve on any piece of gemstone, let alone a monochromatic pattern.
Specimens with rubies, emeralds and blue sapphires make up the traditional collection, but other styles are also interesting – with tanzanite, yellow chrysoberyl, pink tourmaline, amethyst, blue topaz, orange spessartite and cavorite. a bold addition to the entire line. It makes the collection a little less predictable and really appeals to my maximalist rainbow style. Indeed, the dials, bezels, bracelets and crowns of each of the 20 watches are 100% set with precious stones.
Mechanically, all 41mm watches are equipped with caliber 4309, while the 37mm Royal Oaks are equipped with caliber 5909. Regardless of case size or movement, all watches in the series are equipped with the special memory by Audemars Piguet. The 50th anniversary oscillating weight, visible through the sapphire crystal case back.
Going into this week, it felt like we'd hit the rainbow. Some of us were still shocked by yesterday's news of the Patek Aquanaut Luce ref. 7968/300R. And this fell.

While I don't like the rainbow, most use the same design language revolving around the gemstone bezel. This new AP opening is an interesting and nuanced look at the process that offers a fresh perspective. Each set of watches uses different colored stones, so the rainbow only exists when all 10 watches are placed next to each other. We have gone from a set frame to a complete collection, executing large-scale paintings.
There is nothing like a jeweled watch to get my blood pumping. I gravitate towards high jewelry pieces at auctions or fairs, mostly because I love jewelry, but also because a gem-encrusted watch is truly high-octane glamour.
Setting gems to this level is a craft many of us neglect to appreciate. While these pieces are often out of reach for most of us, the level of skill used is commendable. Learning about watches like this just makes me want to learn more about the process behind their creation.
Sure, this is a small movement of the same watch in color and size, which means no one is going to own it, but the fun is in knowing they exist. A cynic might view the last 48 hours as two reputable brands chasing trends, but I prefer to look on the bright side. The watches are very interesting and better than most in execution in this area. Even a single moment should make you happy. With the new Patek and the AP now released, we just got a set of Rainbow Gems twice. Strangled Star… Clara was Hollywood's hottest star until someone killed her at Paramount. I went to get her body. The producers offered me a job. Clara and I may be like twins, but we are not identical. She wanted to be pressed on screen and gossip, date other stars and criminals. I'm just a broke student with good language skills. I took the job, but not because I cared about finishing the film. I want to know what happened to my sister. I'm surrounded by jealous players, mad fans and cruel leaders. The only person I can trust is an off-duty detective who can be more of a distraction than a help. I only have two weeks before the film is finished. And I could work alongside a killer…

ARC provided by the author in exchange for an honest review. I've been a fan of Sophie's work for quite some time, so I was very excited when I found out she was working on a whodunit for us. And I have to say that this book met all my expectations. The story takes the protagonist, Alice, to Hollywood during World War II, where she tries to solve the grisly murder of her beautiful sister and famous actress Clara. Alice has more names than her. Roommates, potential lovers, rivals and crazy fans. While it seems easy to see the killer, this book hides a lot of plot and I, as a reader, didn't know who it was until the very last moment. But I love mystery books and you don't know who the real bad guy is until the end – and that's the case with this book. Each chapter made the story more interesting and the mystery grew as the main character tried to find out who killed her sister. The story is short, but it still contains all the important information you need and everything is organized in the book. Alice was the main protagonist. I loved the fire in her and admired how far of her she was willing to go to fight for her sisterly rights. If only I had the courage of her. I also liked her relationship with Jack, a good cop who helps her in every investigation. It was a nice “side” story, watching them build this beautiful relationship. I remember Sophie's main goal for this book was to make the people who read it happy and I have to say she did. Everything about this story was great and I hope that one day she writes a similar story because mystery is another genre that she's really good at. *** Follow me on Instagram for book updates.
Not my usual type of reading. I love books set in modern times, but the idea of Hollywood in the 40s convinced me. I was completely transported back in time and seemed to see everything as Alice saw it.

So I wasn't sure what to expect from a killer whodunit. But I have to say which I was pleasantly surprised. It had a glitzy glamorous old Hollywood feel to it, with great page-turning mysteries. A fool who left you guessing. By order I gave, I didn't see you. Though I soon guessed the assassin (I'm good at it), Non I was still with the truth until it was confirmed. Even then, he had his amazing acting machine. I liked the relationship between Alice and Jack. I felt on the edge of my seat waiting for the fire to start between them. I know, this is a secret, but can't we have a secret with another fire!? I want to see it from this author. Doubting that love has more secrets and warmth, it could
