(wow) Words Of Wonders Level 1003 Answers – New developments on this page will be discussed on Stack Exchange. If you have a build bug report, please post an answer there.

The OS profile page has been updated in the last 24 hours with a new system showing less information:

The “All to do” page also has very little information: when I want to see my latest posts, it takes 2-3 hours.

How To Overcome Stress

What people use “web design” seems to forget, not every website is a blog or information website, where visitors want to read something (such as a address or a blog post), there is that. Your screen immediately (otherwise the “hero picture” requires visitors to scroll down the full page to see the blog title), read it, and then walk away.

Stack Overflow is a web app, not just an online forum. And my desktop screen is not a goddamn tablet. I don't touch the screen with my fingertips covering 5% or more of it, Hold the six-inch screen half a meter from my face.

My monitor is a large 24-, 27- or 32-inch screen that stretches out in front of my face, and I use a mouse pointer the size of a few pixels to move. I don't want buttons or clicks bigger than bananas under my watch. I can read text with a size of 10 to 12 pixels. 15 is on the high side.

I've spoken before on the Spotify forums. Spotify has combined web, mobile and desktop apps into one, supporting the same settings (and changing CSS classes all versions, bad people, so Spicetify still breaks something), pissing off more and more users:

Ep. 1371: Zuckerberg: Man Of The Year? Well, Yeah, Actually.

Please, please stop the “design” frenzy that exists on the web and has now entered the desktop thanks to Electron, PWA, SPA and what not. I have millions of pixels reserved for my 2560×1440 screen, the Spotify Desktop app on Windows takes up about half of that, what do I have on my home screen? TWELVE (12) tiles with short names and descriptions of ellipses, proportions, quality, fields and edges, and objects. This is a 27 inch monitor (not Patrick) that can display a full page or over a hundred lines of text well in my word processor, IDE, and browser. This is a computer monitor, not a tablet or smartphone. This “thin” size fad is unintuitive and bad and wants to disappear quickly.

I don't know anyone who likes a top ten user interface design for a desktop website, and I don't know anyone who likes RSI because it has to go up and down every day to read the right data. on one page.

Update 5/13/2022: I rarely log in, but when I do, I am amazed by this view:

There is no readable or effective content across the center of the screen, which looks narrower than before. I'm still not a fan.

Green Bay Packers 2022 Nfl Draft Position Previews

This is my SO profile page. I don't use it much (I mostly use Ubuntu) so it's pretty empty. And

Of unused space. Wow. For reference, I'm using Microsoft Edge, standard 100% scale, on a 27″ 4k screen.

I went ahead and painted the unused area red. So … most of the page. Sorry Stack Exchange, but this is a huge waste.

I specifically interpret bad UX as a symptom of a problem in the industry. There are some projects that I wonder if ever

For companies that follow they become market leaders in almost any type of website, app or service. Examples of the principles I am talking about include:

Between 2015 and 2020, these principles were launched in the global market, especially for everyone to know and appreciate. They remain in the special products that are used to accompany them. For example, create custom icons that are used as part of Google's Searchable UI guidelines for Android. This process was modified ca. 2018, and now it is possible

I consider this a dilution and/or cessation of talent. By dilution I mean that demand has been greatly diluted by “new blood” so the deal is in doubt. By conflict I mean that the business has grown so rapidly that the top business developers who are now at the mid to high level are no longer working with those who were in the business before the collapse.

Update 2022-02-24 v0.6: There are tweaks for the profile page, they seem to have (probably) fixed the format so that my users don't have to do anything there (or well, again, I don't have time. to lose. improving the current design, assuming they continue to tweak it).

Loweprofessionals Brochure By Lowepro

If anyone wants something worth looking at when (hopefully) talking about user input in the SE thread, I hacked the user: GitHub gist install link. Unfortunately, it has to be a user script rather than a user model

Will move JS DOM, etc. It is simply impossible to get good CSS options.

Note: I tested it on OS dark theme only, and the text matches only on OS, although the format is the same on different SE sites, so you can try to add some parts.

If you want Don't expect it to be permanent as I see the team updating the profile page daily with minor tweaks. It provides a direct view of different profile tabs. It should be easily adjustable if you want to enable/disable it in some tabs, there is a regexp list below. I don't bother with questions/tracks/bonuses because I don't use the live page.

This is the starting point for model users. I'm too lazy to fix everything right away, and it's not clear how to fix some things, but it should be good enough to get the profile page into a usable state.

I couldn't believe not only how unusable the web page had become, but also how terrible the HTML code was. It looks like I'm using the table-in-table-in-table-in-table format that was common in 2001. The only difference is that .

Something is wrong. Something went wrong if this is what the code on Stack Overflow looks like now.

The old system was best for those who needed information quickly when they landed on their profile page and knew the site well enough to know where to find it – the user. In other words, the kind of people who live on Stack Overflow.

This new layout is easier to figure out at a glance if you are not familiar with the page. It is not a waste of information and it immediately makes sense to new users. It's easier to find what you're looking for if you don't use the profile page often and want to keep up with the process every time you do. In other words, the new configuration is better for new users and bugs – the kind of people who may not be on Stack Overflow, but perhaps the biggest users of the site.

We are not the audience for these changes, so it is not surprising that we feel sad that we have lost some public services that we used to have and depend on.

However, there is a simple solution. Many sites have an option in the upper right corner that lets you choose between visual and detailed. Expand the default view, add an option in the upper right corner of the view to restore the default settings, and save your selection so you don't have to click on it again and again. Both power users and casual users are now happy.
