Place them side by side (make sure they are lined up correctly – you can play with the boards until you get the right configuration), add wood glue to the sides, glue the boards together and tighten them well.
If you are confident in your sawing skills, you can cut the wood yourself. If not, take it to a shop to have it cut. We brought ours to Home Depot, and even though we didn’t buy wood there, they would cut it.

Be sure to make two cuts of equal length on both sides of the table. Do not cut two identical pieces on one side of the board, as the grain will not match when hung on the other side.
