7. Screw the hinges onto the legs, then screw the other half of each hinge into the box you made. Install the legs so that they face the box and both fit into the box when the table is against the wall.
8. Add metal hinged brackets to each leg, screwing one side to the leg and the other to the inside of the box.

If you need to sand your 1/4″ plywood sheet, you can do it by hand with fine sandpaper. You should not create any cracks on the surface of the wood.

After both tables have dried overnight (or several hours according to the wood glue instructions), glue the two 10-inch wood strips to the inside of the table. These additional supports are required for further storage. Space them about 1″ apart…go ahead and watch, you want it to be even.
Stain or paint the tables on both sides and let them dry completely. While the table is drying, it’s a good time to take this lesson and start with the legs.
