To increase the height of the table, buy wooden or plastic sleepers that go under the legs of your table. For a permanent effect, buy cow legs or get 4 small pieces of wood of the same height. Then attach them to the bottom of your table legs with screws or hanger bolts. If you want to add new legs to the table, sand the wood where the legs meet the extensions. Then I flipped the table down. Luckily, the center of my feet was already marked. If you don’t have one, mark the center by measuring the diameter of the foot and marking the center. Repeat this 2 to 3 times to get the middle.
I then drilled a 1/3″ deep hole with a 5/16″ drill bit. Note – If you don’t have a 5/16″ drill, I recommend purchasing a drill bit kit for future work-yes.

Before painting, I turned the table over to make sure it wouldn’t warp – it didn’t. It still holds up today (I’m writing this 3 weeks after the program ended).
I removed all the legs and put some paint on each one. To compare the color, I took one of the existing legs from Sherwin Williams and compared it. I bought a small (sample size) for a few bucks.
Tip – I find it helpful to use masking tape and cups and other things to keep my feet dry.
