I went to Joan Fabric and bought 2 meters of fabric for the home decoration on sale. If I had it to do over again, I would buy a third yard to have more room with the chairs. But we made it work. Total price? $12 or $6 per seat.

Then I had my older girls fasten the fabric to the chair so I could start working on the other chair.

I’m less of a ‘take your time and do it right’ type and more of an impatient ‘let’s do it fast’ type. My wife can testify to that, but she doesn’t care about those things, not even office chairs. It was so convenient that I had to bring it home even though it was very expensive (in my opinion)!! When I got home and googled the make and model number below, this leather chair was selling for $500! It’s crazy! No wonder it’s so comfortable and what a deal!

It was only $35 at a thrift store, and with all these great details, I couldn’t pass it up. I wasn’t motivated to do it again until I had an empty space to fill in our new living room.
