I decided to build my own table because you can’t just buy tables here, it costs an arm and a leg to bring them. Why move? Why, I take it to parties and people love it. Let’s get started!!!
To make the folding table, I made a 2-panel table with 1 fold and legs that fold inside.
*Note: planks and panels are 2cm thick, so all 8 planks are 56cm; They go inside
Missing Beer Die Table ($100 Reward)
Make legs separately with wood that fits in a 10 cm box, take 2 legs and join them with a 56 cm board. Repeat with the other leg.
Now attach the legs where they can be folded, place the straight legs where they will be, place the hinge with the long end over the legs and insert the screws.
I drill holes through the sides and legs of the table (while standing) so I can lock the legs. This makes the table more stable and easier to set up.

I added another leg that bends on 1 side to the other for extra support in the middle.
This is the fun part!!! It is easier to paint the two parts before joining them. Decide what you want, I went with this because it’s simple, you can still see a lot of the wood, and it looks nice. This step is up to you and I can only give you some advice.
Remember to cover well!! You don’t want to damage the card at this point. I used a stencil and spray paint technique where I did the white first, then the red separately and finally the blue. I cut out the stencils from a blank sticker, but I think it works best with an old x-ray.

Now the table must be closed, because liquids will flow. So paint with varnish, I used clear gloss varnish, 3 coats, but it depends on the wood. I would say to do at least 2 coats.
Allow to dry properly, then go over the entire board again with fine steel wool, smoothing out any bubbles or lumps. Do this between each layer
Make sure these boards are strong and remember to be gentle when opening the board so the hinge doesn’t break from the wood.

You can add any handles, I used an old belt attached with steel and screws. Make sure to find the balance point. I had to reattach it 3 times before finding the right fit.
Some put holes for wash cups, but I like to keep a bucket of water under the table. You can put a screw or a hook on each side to hang a cloth to dry the ball.
