6) Depending on the horsepower of your router and the stiffness of the flat panel, you may need to jump a few times over the panel. In our case we can remove about 1/8″ with each pass. To start cutting, find the highest position on the front edge and adjust the bite depth for the first cut.

7) Start the first run over the entire board, making sure to find all the heights, then adjust the depth a bit to remove more. Repeat the process until the plate is flat on the surface.
