Byot (build Your Own Table) Dining Table, With Expansion Leaves, In Natural Cherry
Begin by cutting four 4-inch by 4-inch blanks for the legs (A) to a rough length of 29-1/2 inches. Use a table saw to hollow out the leg to the final width and thickness. Use a miter saw to cut the section to final length (see Harvest Table and Benches Project Diagram).
For the remaining part of the table base, cut the long apron (B), short apron (C), corner support (D) and stretcher (E) to width and length. Cut a 45-degree miter on both ends of the corner (as shown in the project diagram) and drill a 1/4-inch hole in the center of the face of each tire.
