How To Make A Barbie Table – I love going to thrift stores or garage sales and finding some vintage items that I can use in barbie furniture. I hope to inspire Barbie-loving moms and kids to try turning the old into the new. Sometimes all it takes is a little inspiration and when you see how easy it is, you’ll encourage your child to try it, or you can try it yourself! There is nothing better than a child using their creativity to go on a treasure hunt, it doesn’t have to be the supermarket, maybe you have things in a box at home or in the garage.
I’m not sure about them (candle holders I think?), but at $1.00 each, I’m sure I’ll come up with something! After playing with them for a while, I decided that the table and chairs would be perfect. I cut out a pig for a chair cover, added a small round dollar tree mirror that I kicked up, and soon Barbie had a beautiful table and chairs. Glasses are great for dioramas, but not child-safe, so I encourage youngsters to use a bottle cap or piece of cardboard to prop up the table.

You Won’t Believe What Happened At This Barbie Dream House Party!
Some of you may remember this from my DIY Barbie Hotel Room. Turn a candle holder into a bedside table in two easy steps. First cut and fold a piece of paper to the right size and place it on top, then place the lid of the necklace box on top and you have a beautiful bed or coffee table for Barbie in minutes.
The chairs are perfect for Barbie! I see her every now and then at the grocery store. You can paint or add to these simple pillows! I used these colorful rubber bands from Dollar Tree and they worked great. They come in a variety of colors, so it’s easy to change up a Barbie doll because they’re straight and require no sewing or assembly.
This mini makeup set is the perfect makeup accessory. You put a silver candle and now there’s a place to get Barbie ready for the day!

This coffee table is from my Easy No Sew DIY Barbie Coach blogger. Two old diapers stuck together. It’s easy and convenient!
This little dresser is a drawer from a children’s jewelry box, many of which I found littering the recycling center. Each box is painted in a different color and painted with the perfect texture to create Barbie furniture. For this pink dresser, put it in a drawer, insert a little silver box and add some accessories to make it the perfect addition to Barbie’s makeup!
A variety of small wooden jewelry boxes can be found at garage sales and thrift stores. Here’s an example of using jewelry boxes as a display table for a DIY rustic bench. This chair is also made from a thrift store dining table or table I found a while back and a green faux leather chair made from an old suitcase. I put jewelry boxes on the arms of the sofa and they make great end tables with almost no work!

I love this piece so much! This is also from my DIY Barbie Hotel Room blog. It was created from old videos. I removed the duct tape from the inside of the top cover and have a double sided rotating cabinet to use as a fireplace/tank. I use this for diorama pictures, but if I’m doing this with a baby or toddler, I recommend removing the glass from the display windows and leaving the pictures for safety reasons.
I didn’t take a picture the first time, but I found something similar to give you an idea of what it looked like before. You can occasionally find them at thrift stores.
I printed out a picture of the fire and fish tank and attached it to a large background area. Then I insert the background images (cardboard or paper) and glue them to the front and back pages. Now Barbie can dig a fish tank, a fireplace or a TV in any way!

This is a great find! An unused incense burner creates a chic, modern barbie doll patio in the fireplace! Add some wood chips or insert one of the tea lights and switches to turn it on and off.
