Step 1 to designing a winged boudoir chair is to measure the length and width of the back of the chair with a tape measure. This measurement is used to draw patterns on muslin cloth.

Cut the wool strips to the desired length. Make several strips, enough to cover the length and width of the back of the chair.

Step 3A of making a free wing chair is to trace the back of the chair using muslin. Draw the shape of the chair on the muslin using a pencil.

Step 3B to make the rear wing blank is to design and cut the fabric to fit the size of the seat. Use a pencil to trace the back of the front seat onto the muslin. Cut the fabric with scissors.

Step 4A for drawing the fur blank is to start sewing the fabric in the form of a muslin. Starting at the top of the fabric, sew the length of the wing down the length of the fabric and continue the line from top to bottom.

Step 4B in making the feather blank is to sew the length of the feather to the fabric pattern, starting from the top. This creates a wing line in the fabric that can be placed behind the chair.

Once the wings are sewn to the fabric on the lines, hold and inspect the finished piece before attaching the fabric to the seat. Make sure the fabric fits the seat before you start sewing.

Using a glue gun, glue the top of the chair back to the back of the seat, making sure it’s full.

The 5th step of painting a free wing chair is to attach the fabric to the chair. Using a glue gun, attach the top and bottom of the seat fabric to the back of the seat, making sure it is completely covered by the fabric.

Earlier this year I attended Home Depot’s Prospective Tools event in Atlanta and was able to test out this new Dewalt drill and impact tool. It’s part of their new ATOMIC line – super compact, bruxless and battery powered.

Combo kit includes drill/driver, impact driver, two MAX 20 volt Lithium-Ion batteries, 1 charger and carrying case. I like that it’s a small device that fits in my small hands, but doesn’t compromise on power or functionality. The impact driver measures approximately 5 inches front and rear while the coach/driver measures approximately 6 inches front and rear and both are heavier at 2.4 liters. Even with its small size, I never noticed a drop in capacity. They worked really well on this project, especially when I had to fit the drill into a tight space while adding graphics.

After digging a pocket hole, the rally was a success. The case soon came together so I turned my attention to building and installing the drawers. If you’re nervous about creating a design, don’t be! Here’s an easy way to do it.

First, they measure the space where the trailer will go to build a short trailer. Standard drawings usually require 1/2 inch on each side. Make sure your download is early; this will prevent it from sticking. To do this, they measure drag from corner to corner as well. Parameters must match. If not, click the long side to adjust the slider and lock it in place.

Next, there will be two parts on each side of the slide: one part that goes into the cabinet and one part that goes into the cabinet. Hold these two parts together and draw the direction shown on the cabinet. Do this on the other side.

Then put the drawer in place. Pull the drawing box out a few inches, with the slide side attached to the box. Attach the two inner cords to the pull box, then pull the filter box out and out, then cut in the center line. Then, remove the drawer completely, along with the slide, and place the last cable behind the back. I shared a video of this technique on my Instagram story if you want to see it.

The easiest way to install a drawer front is to slide the drawer box into place, then attach the drawer front and clip it into place. Drive some nails into the front to temporarily attach the face of the pull box. Drill the template hole for the puller and install the puller. Now that the face is there, you can power it up by driving in some electric shocks ahead.

Finally, I cut the remaining pieces and glued them to the dresser. Tip: Use the foam storage board as a cutting board, to start your garage!
