Today, I want to show you how easy it was to make this farmhouse picnic table that adds tons of extra seating. It also looks great on your deck, patio or lawn. The total cost of the project was about $150, which isn’t too bad for a large table with eight chairs.

I wanted a 6-foot table to fit my space, so for the top, I cut six 6-foot 2x6s and laid them on the floor to see how it would look.
