I bought a small 10″ table from Skillsaw and I really liked it, but the table itself was too small for what I wanted to use it for, so I decided to make a larger table with 3/4″ boards. Very easy to take apart the board ( using hidden holes of course.) The problem is that the fence becomes useless, so I have to do it myself. I experiment with many ideas and learn more. Online and as always, the simple solution turns out to be the best.
How To Make A Rip Fence
The first thing you need to do is make sure the edge of the new table is perpendicular to the knife. I did this by placing one layer in front of the blade (be careful not to push with the blade), then a T-square, and another layer to keep the edge of the blade straight. It also ensures that the edges of your table are always the same length apart, even if it’s not as important as this design. After you cut the square edges, find the length of your table (front to back). I have 26 1/2 inches.

First I cut out the main 2×4. Make it at least 1/2 the length of the table. So I cut my height down to 27 inches. The edges of most 2x4s are rounded, so I removed an eighth of an inch from the bottom so the 2x4s sit directly against the table. Then cut a 5-inch piece of 2×4 in half lengthwise (so it’s 2×2). Both parts will be screwed to the end of the fence, so everything else will be at the bottom. I used a 3″ roof screw and put in a head brush. Make sure they are strong as you will be leaning against the fence every time you tighten. You can screw on the back now, but wait a bit later to attach the front. Now line up the front row and mark where you can place the holes to screw them to the table instead of under it.
I took these screws from an old piece of furniture, but you can buy them at any hardware store. The press in them also works well, but you need a large panel for them to flow out. I also had to break the C-clamp to attach this threaded rod, which is a pity, but you can’t make an omelette….. You also make this setup by purchasing a threaded rod, which is a flat blade. And a metal tool (a hole is drilled in a solid threaded rod). Now I drilled a 1/2″ hole in the front of the 2×2 and screwed in the screws with a hex wrench. Then thread into the 2×2 front screw with a double screw, you’re done!! I drew on the diagram, judging by the pencil, which seemed temporary, but I will fight later. I started by cutting out an MDF table for the base plate. The base is 52.5 cm long and 33 cm wide. The reason I chose to use MDF is that it is straight and glides well over other materials.
I drew a center line on the base plate and cut a slot with a router. Hole 33 is 5cm long and 1.5cm wide. I used 1.5cm wide plywood as a reference to cut out the holes I used for the fence.

Note: I used double sided tape to stick the panels to the board (right on the center line), set up the router and started cutting. You can use a square to make sure the slot is perpendicular to the edge of the base.
Pump up the edges and round the corners of the panel to get a good glide in the hole.
Tip: Use the Router Dado on a mat or board to keep out of your work area.

I directed the additional slot 0.5 cm above the first hole to the right. The slots are 40 cm long, 1 cm wide, 3 cm wide, and 1 m deep. Once I’m done with the bottom panel, I’ll insert the wire into the self-adhesive panel to easily measure and determine the width.
Note. Lines are placed at the bottom of the bottom bar (easier option). However, having it on top is the best option.
First I trimmed the unused corners of the base plate. This is an option, but I like it better and makes the foundation lighter.
The Ultimate Table Saw Fence
The circle is attached to the base in the “shoe”. I cut 4 pieces of plywood, cut the edges on the jigsaw terminals and glued the planks around the round boards.
Make sure that when you see the circle, it is perpendicular to the fence slot. It is important that the circular saw blade and fence are exactly parallel to each other.
Then I cut a hole in the base plate for the round board. I used a circular saw.
