Old belts – I collected them from thrift stores and street garage sales. I used mostly leather, but I also threw in a fabric belt, old belts are $0.99 at Goodwill. My desired end result for this chair is something that can sit on the floor, hold toys or books, and be comfortable for my kids. Being able to jump from it, hide with it, use it as a fort building tool, and maybe even resist something comfortable. The seat back is 20 inches high, 20 inches wide and 1/2 inch thick, giving little ones room to relax.
