I cut all my boards according to the cut list below using a compound miter saw. You can use a circular and square saw, or have your local home improvement store cut the boards for you. Good cutlets are very important.
I then attached the legs to the long 2×6 board, using 2-3/4 inch screws. Note the space between the slats – this is a 1x ¾” thick drop.
