Bar stool design inspiration is from Better Homes and Gardens. I love the light color in the white kitchen, amazing!

We’re going to make bar stools easy by removing the felt in the legs, and these stools will be a super easy and super cheap DIY. The plans are for a 24″ bar, if you need a longer version, just increase the length of the legs.

Use 2 Kreg 1/2-inch screws to secure the front and back of the seat. I also recommend using walnut.

Use 2 1/2-inch kreg screws to attach the two 15-inch seat posts. When finished, secure the seat panels to the supports from the bottom with 2 1/2-inch wood screws. Before gluing the seat posts together, you can spread them across the top side at once and glue them in place. Let the glue dry, then twist it to secure the boards with 2 1/2-inch screws. This will make it easier to install the panels. Plus, you won’t have any screw holes visible from above.

Glue the panels that make up the base of the seat and the supports. I love these ponies Jorgensen Cabinet Master parallel joints because they clamp with equal pressure on both sides of the workpiece and help prevent bending. They also make a nice hard work surface and can easily be used on the floor for large panels or you can stand them up to clean the tile on both sides before it dries. This means you can move them out of the way while the glue dries.
