Step 2 – Cut six pieces of 2×4 to 31.75 inches long for the table legs. Place the three cut pieces of wood side by side and use wood glue on the side to hold them together. Step 3 – Attach one of the flat metal brackets to the inner bottom of each leg with leg screws. Make sure the screws are not too long and they go through the wood. This gives extra stability to the legs.

Step 4 – Place a 1×12 long board on top and attach each leg end to end using L-shaped angle brackets and wood screws. Place the brackets to allow the center bracket to be added to the room. I placed each leg 1.5″ from the end of the board. Be sure to glue the leg so the side of the leg is facing inward with the flat bracket. Make sure the wood screws are short enough that they don’t go through the wood.
