There are dining chairs under these simple kitchen cabinets! They’re simple for now, but you can customize them with cutting, detailing tools, or painting. They slide under the counter like cabinets and are easily pulled out if you need space.
To make the seat, I glued 1×3 pieces together and then glued them to the 1/4 inch plywood backrest. Attach the seats to the base using wood glue and 1 1/4″ nails for each board, then fasten the back with wood glue and 3/4″ nails.

The table is subject to change. It’s actually used as a shower – it’s actually made of plexiglass – but it’s a great desk.
This is a very simple table made of scraps. Use whatever you have on hand to hold on tight. First, secure the holes in the plexiglass with hot glue and nails.

When I was doing my thing, I used a lot of what I had on hand because we couldn’t safely go to the grocery store. But it also forced me to develop a hobby. We had salvaged Barbie Dreamhouse furniture we had previously (the girls never played with it). I have purchased other equipment and will try to include as much as possible. Part of that time I paid 3 times so I got other products. I will provide some links and options if they are not available at the time of reading this post. Like I said, I started with a paint scheme to make things more neutral, and it quickly got out of hand. I love the Rustoleum 2x paint and also used this matte sealing enamel to keep the paint from drying out. So far 2 months of playing, very good.
I think it would be easier if I went to each room. Let’s start with a purple-beige bedroom. It started with this bedroom:
So, as any normal person would do, I made a quilt bed out of fabric, cardboard, and hot glue.

The bed is equipped with a paper mattress and does not work for our beloved Barbie. I cut the foam on my palm with a bread knife, wrapped it in a cloth and laid it on the comfortable bed. (I’m feeling a little crazy as I write this… but one of my Instagram followers told me to do it, who’s crazy now?! LOL)
For the bed I used girls’ clothes, which I give as a gift. The old cloth became a hat, the old cloth became a quilt, and the white shirt became leather. The same goes for pillows. And I didn’t sew any! I used hot glue to make the seams and it worked great. For the window, I took a photo of a fashionable look from a magazine, covered it with “laminating” tape, drew window blinds with a permanent marker and hot-glued a wood cutout. Muse Wall Studio’s backdrop is leather and wood, but you could use scrapbook paper as well.
For a photo, I just print what I like online and put it on the box for comparison. I painted it gray and made a little basket out of an old straw hat from Target’s discount department. A sheet is a piece of fabric that is also cut into pieces of fabric. This hat has arrived! There is also a place for a hanging lamp. To do this, I covered half of the plastic Easter egg with string and attached it to the ceiling with Velcro for easy removal. For the floors, I used wood that we had on hand, and I painted the wooden boards with colored pencils.

I cut off the footboard of the bed because it blocked the view of the pillows. This road is even more beautiful! It should match the purple bedroom!
Let’s go to the boho bedroom! For this bedroom, I got a Dreamhouse bed that I refurbished. I painted it white and added a piece of straw hat to make a nice crochet head.
I painted some sticks and a small can of black paint to make the ceiling panels. I added velcro on the top so girls can take them off if they need more room to play.
