Materials: 2 pieces of fabric (upholstery fabric preferred), 1 22″ zipper pull, 3.5 cubic feet of bean bag filling
How To Make A Pyramid Beanbag Chair
1. Cut two pieces of fabric measuring 45 by 32 inches. The fabric can be all the same, or you can choose a coordinating two-tone pattern.
2. Align the right side. Use a zigzag stitch on the long raw edge to prevent fraying, then sew the same edge straight across. Due to the extensive use of this stitch, short stitch lengths are highly recommended for durability.
5. Open the canvas and you will see a symmetrical curve on one side. Zigzag stitch along the raw edge and close it again with a straight stitch.

6. Open the remaining unstitched edge. Fold in half in the opposite direction, keeping right sides together as shown below.
7. Sew a zipper 22 inches down the center of this opening. I used a hidden zipper so that the zipper is inconspicuous.
9. Turn the beanbag chair right side out and fill it with beans! This toddler chair is filled with just one bean bag (3.5 cu ft or 100 liters) of filling to create the perfect amount of plump. There is no easy way to get those crazy sticky little globs without spilling, my best advice is to have two people hold the zip open and a third to stuff stuff inside.
