Hi Morgan and Sean, My wife and I live in Sumter and like Charleston, we have a lot of squirrels living in the trees around our house. During the 2015 flood, some of these squirrels came to us even while we were demolishing the house. I returned them with the trees along with a bag of walnuts. This picnic table is the perfect addition to our privacy fence that the squirrels use as a highway (literally). My wife saw your table on FB which got me thinking. Lately I’ve been quite busy making a lot of things out of pallet wood. It’s a kind of therapy for me. I will be retiring from the SC Army National Guard in about a year and these projects seem to fill some kind of hole. I can’t wait to build this squirrel picnic table and hopefully bring a smile to my neighbors and squirrels. My little friend Westie/Jack Russell loves to chase squirrels. They need a place to rest.
