I can only imagine that Matt and I are no less than America’s star family. In fact, we were all of our parents’ generation, and while they might have been cool in the ’80s, they lack glamor now. Years later, I picked up some vinyl tablecloths, hoping to breathe new life into our sad cards, and life began again, and I never put them back. I recently came across tablecloths and decided it was time to move on to my project, but there is one hiccup, I don’t like the tablecloth I had previously chosen. Don’t be scared, after a quick trip to Target, I’m back at work and ready to make a really, really nice card table!
Wipe clean with a damp cloth to remove any dust or dirt that may be present on the bottom of the table.
Remove tabletop from frame and legs. (Don’t forget to keep the screws in a safe place, because you’ll need them later.) Most tables come with a number of hex screws attached that can be easily removed with a ratchet, socket, or socket.
