I need to install a ceiling fan but when I looked in the fan box to hang the mounting bracket, I can’t find a screw to hang it on.

The fan bracket screws that come with the Arlington FB442 single sided chain box are pre-installed in the box next to the wire outlet in your photo. (You’ve already started pulling one back.) Once you’ve got them out, you should be able to use them to screw the metal strap that came with the fan into the two “pockets” on the outside of the fan’s sidewalls. the box marked with arrows on the box and the words “REMOVE THE END, USE HERE”, thus connecting its leg to the same roof beam that the fan box is mounted on.
