I cut pieces of plywood for the fence from small scraps I had around my shop. I used 1/2″ and 3/4″ Baltic birch plywood, but any standard material will do. The only reason I used 3/4″ plywood instead of 1/2″ plywood was to accommodate the T-Track I planned to use. We will look into this in the future. If you don’t plan on using a T track, you can make the whole thing with 1/2″ stock.

Once the pieces were cut to final dimensions, I began marking and cutting the corresponding areas for the bottom. I did this by making several cuts on the table saw. The front part of the fixed part of the fence needs some attention now. It requires cutting 4 slots to allow the movement of the switch and a cutout in the middle to accommodate router bits of different sizes. I drilled 8 1/4″ holes according to the construction plans, then ran the part on the router. I used a 1/4″ router bit to align each hole to its mate and make 4 slots larger than 1/4 ” . 4″.
On the fourth table, I made the first blanks that allowed me to remove the middle piece. I did a few steps to open the gaps so I could go back to the router and finish. I stopped cutting before a piece of dirt was completely free, cut it, and finished cutting. This prevents the piece of scrap from being hit hard by the router.
I insert the router wire, mark the high and low side of the uncut base supports, join the two lines to show my angle, then cut it to size on the table saw. Marking and cutting avoids the headache of calculating angles.

Once everything was a good fit, I glued it together, making sure everything fit before I cured it. The slots below make it very easy.
I marked the holes according to the construction plans and drilled holes that did not go through the wood. I cut before driving 1/4″ to insert 20 threads. These are cheap online and can be reused if I need to change the front panels. The YouTube video tutorial has links to everything. I cut the piece to fit perfectly between the two brackets of the wire center. Next, using a piece of the center corner piece, I place the corner on my table saw. I cut an angle on the trim cover, turned it over and cut the other side. This left me with a piece with parallel angles on each side. Once the piece was bent, I marked the center and drilled a hole to match the size of my shop thread. The size of this hole will vary, so cut it to fit your equipment.

Once the room is set up, I can attach the walk shop and use a top bearing router bit to remove the material from the inside of the room to complete this step.
I used 1/4-20 screws with washers to attach the adjustable front panels to the base. To attach the T-track, I pre-drilled the holes and installed them with small screws.
