When I bought this cute bistro chair for breakfast in my farmhouse kitchen, I knew I wanted to shake up the chair a bit.

I searched online for simple round seat cushion tutorials, and I bought a seat kit. But I didn't do anything because it looked too difficult to sew.
Then one day I walked across these thick, thick rugs at HomeGoods. I measured it and it sure fits my seat perfectly! For only $6.98 each, it beats bending my own bench seat…easy, no sewing, no thinking!

After placing the mattress on the chair, I simply stapled the padding to the door near the back of the chair and tied it to the back of the chair!
The gunmetal is almost the same color as the bed frame, giving it a nice and uniform look.
While the black chair without the couch is beautiful, I think the red chair cover adds a nice finishing touch to the farmhouse charm, and the torn bathrobe and style of the rugs add interest to this breakfast nook!

It is very easy to remove the pillow when I need to wash and do not want to use it. It's so much easier to replace the wide belt with a fun look when I'm ready to change!
