God Hears And Answers Prayers – Have you ever felt like this? “caught in mortal agony”? I have never experienced genocide like Queen Esther, but I have felt the “deadly agony” of despair when we face deep financial problems… when our child’s life is at stake. drugs. Like Esther, I cried out “Help me now, that I am alone and there is none but You, O Lord my God!” (v. 16). And God answered me.
The Easter prayer today is largely associated with Jesus’ assurance that “everyone who asks receives.” And he who seeks finds. And to him who knocks, the door will be opened” (Matthew 7:8). Our God answers prayer! And if you throw yourself on God, like Esther did, and ask for help, He will hear you and help you.

Maybe you sometimes wonder how to pray. The Responsorial Psalm (Psalm 138) provides a bridge between Easter anxiety (and ours) and the certainty of Jesus. Tell God what we should say. He died to save us from all the harmful effects of sin in the world. One day all our problems will be gone. But meanwhile Jesus walks with us, listens to us, hears our cries. And He strengthens, encourages, helps and comforts us.

The Bible often refers to how Jesus knows our weaknesses and can relate to what we are feeling. Jesus knew that once all the sins of all mankind were imputed to Him on the cross, His heavenly Father would be rejected because of His holiness.

The impetus for this post is a prayer of mine that God has recently answered. I have been dealing with a painful illness since the summer that has been taking a long time to heal. I was doing everything I could to help with the healing, but things were going slower than I wanted. So after talking to my mom on the phone one night, I asked if we could pray together about the prayer that had been bothering me for months.
He poured out his heart to God as I softly whispered “Amen” and “Yes Lord” in the background. So I gently pleaded with him to hear our prayers. A few days later, I noticed something. The disease has been cured!! I called my mom to encourage her about answered prayer and to thank her for praying with me.
I was so excited about the cure because I had a follow up appointment the next day. I am grateful that God answered my prayer that had been bothering me for months.

However, I am dealing with some health issues that could change my life. I passed the preliminary lab tests, but I have to go to the cancer center this weekend for tests. So next month I have another painful exam. Then God will surely hear from me often!
God shows His love for His children in many ways. Sometimes it’s visible, sometimes it does it without us noticing. But when God answers a prayer that only you and I know can be answered, it reminds us of His unconditional, overwhelming love for His children!
Nothing brings a smile to my face, makes me happier, and warms my heart more than when God answers my prayers. And I’m not just talking when he says, “Yes.” God’s many “don’ts” have also been great blessings in my life. Without a doubt, my life would have taken a different path without his wisdom to say “no”.

One important thing you need to remember is this. When God says “yes”, do what He tells you to do without hesitation. Embrace His wisdom and thank Him for answered prayer. Whatever he called or asked. He will give you the power to carry out his will. God will never leave you alone or empty handed. Its life-changing power lives within you!
In closing, I encourage you not to be afraid to talk to God in prayer. You might be thinking that you are always praying about something that God is not answering. Let me say this. There are several reasons why God might not hear your prayers. They are below in BOLD.
