I’ve been coming up with Jodi Picoult’s best books for years, and honestly, I’ve missed the flavor of her old books: books that are provocative, books that shatter the earth, will shake you to your roots and test your moral mind with unique stories. ! It looks like this book will bring back all the precious flavor of her previous work! Like her larger work of nineteen minutes, questioning school shootings, bullying, violence and picture perfect, she takes a realistic approach to domestic violence, Finally Pac The Lost Books: Thought-provoking, earth-shaking, zigzag that will shake your roots and test your moral computer with unusual story lines! It looks like this book will bring back all the precious flavor of her previous work! Like her larger work Nineteen Minutes, which questions school shootings, bullying, violence, and the right image, she takes a realistic approach to domestic violence, in the end. All those wonderful things. He works with characters in a well-developed and unforgettable story! It rocks your world and makes you question your beliefs! When I read the first part of the book, it really hit me in the face, after reading the big twist I didn’t see coming, I just shivered for a long time. I can barely get my words out after this beautiful moment! After this change, the focus of the book changes and the story really takes a different turn. I won’t give too much away and leave out one of the key points of my review so it doesn’t spoil the surprise. First, I decided to briefly summarize what I found in this book, in addition to the good storytelling skills of Jodi Picoult and her wonderful writers, who dare to write about sensitive topics and give new and unique. bold style and style. – Character development is perfect. It depicts two women who are lucky enough to survive life-changing tragedies. Olivia McAfee, a single mother, survivor of domestic violence, raised her son Asher alone, inherited her father’s beekeeping business, lived a peaceful life together, leaving her old life behind. Lily Campanello: 18 years old, reliving her old life by moving to New Hampshire always by her mother Ava’s side and doing whatever it takes to give her daughter the life she’s always dreamed of. I loved hearing Lily’s voice and reading about her struggles with insecurities and tough decisions. She is so brave! It is truly a miracle! – I enjoyed reading a long description and detailed information about beekeeping and the nature of bees, the miraculous healing powers of honey. It was truly a learning experience. – The mystery of Lily’s murder, thought-provoking discussions about violence, toxic relationships, the secrets we keep from ourselves and how far a mother can go to protect her children are actually discussed. Olivia made the right decision to leave her abusive husband and raise her son Asher alone. But what if she can’t stop her son from becoming his father’s type? What if he inherited his desire for violence? The “what if” part makes you wonder what really happened to Lily. As you re-read her story, you slowly piece together the pieces of her life and feel the small pieces of glass continue to stab you in your heart. You feel strongly about her and you respond strongly. This book is not about abuse, violence, crime, depression. It’s about a person’s right to vote for free! You can choose what is best for you, even if it means going against the wishes of those closest to you. – So happy to see Jordan McAfee again. He is Peter Noughton’s lawyer in the book 19 Minutes and I recommend reading it because I think it is still my favorite author’s book. Now Jordan is looking after his nephew and trying to keep him out of jail. My only concern about Lily’s POV is the outdated narrative style. It is confusing and moving to feel the true depth of Asher and the growth of their relationship. I found the evidence that Asher accused in the case of murder to be contradictory. It looks like they are trying to blame him for the murder because he is always the friend! The mystery is still not solved, as I expected and suspected from the beginning, but I have some concerns about the execution. I took half a star off for those two issues, but still narrowed it down from 4.5 stars to 5 because of the strength of this book and the characters. My emotions are all over the place. I couldn’t give less than five stars to this wonderful piece. I’m going to be in the minority here, but I didn’t like this book. This book started off strong and I really enjoyed it. I flew over the top and had a hard time landing. Then it started to include all the hot, controversial topics like LGBTQ, abuse, suicide, abortion, gender equality, and interracial couples. It seems like the writers are trying to cram every hot topic they can think of into this book and it just doesn’t work for me. That’s all, I’ll be in the minority here, but I didn’t like this book.
