Her loving husband Liam claimed to believe her, but it wasn’t long before their relationship was also strained. After a mysterious accident, Liam goes missing. When Faith finally becomes a suspect in her disappearance, she becomes more determined to find the truth. As his mental health deteriorates, it is difficult to determine how much Faith really knows. As you all know, I love unreliable narrators, and Faith Finlay explains that to a tee. In addition to using an illuminatingly believable narrative tropes, you have Faith arrive to act as an amateur detective to find out what happened to Liam. With two of my favorite tropes, it’s no surprise that I really enjoy listening to someone. I found it easy to fully immerse myself in the story. Faith has many flaws, but I think they are flaws that most readers will understand. She doesn’t pretend she’s perfect, and I think after everything she’s been through, you can’t help but want her to finally find some peace. Vishwas follows several interesting and intriguing leads during his investigation. In my opinion, the red herrings are plentiful and well made. What disappointed me a bit was that for some reason I thought the story would have a radio show, but there wasn’t. Of course, it’s my own fault, but I wish we could play him more in his career, but he’s not a part of it. Overall, I think this is an interesting and fast-paced domestic novel, I believe many readers will like it! Faith’s husband, Liam, supported Faith during her public death until he disappeared from the scene of the accident in the car Faith was driving. 4+ stars if you like quirky insider thoughts and dialogue! If you like silly, sardonic introspection and dialogue, you’ll love Doctor Who. Phase Finale! I really enjoyed her character and found her inner mischief very funny and endearing. There are several places where I talk to myself throughout the story. The whole novel unfolds from her point of view, so it is important to connect with her to enjoy the book. Great write up! The development is seamless and the plot flows seamlessly between the present and the aftermath of the first part of the novel. I sympathized with Faith, but I also doubted her and didn’t know who to trust. I doubt who the culprit is, but only because I suspect almost every character at some point.
